Yummy Milk and White chocolate cookies!

Hey guys!

Today I will be sharing with you a delicious recipe for milk and white chocolate cookies. This is a bit different to what I usually do on this blog, but nevertheless, I hope you enjoy this yummy recipe!

To bake the cookies, you will need:

200g butter
300g caster sugar
1 egg
325g self raising flour
 A dash of milk
200g white chocolate
200g milk chocolate

(All of which are pictured below.)

IMAG0169

To begin, start by weighing out the butter and sugar, then placing them in a bowl and mixing them together until you create a light and smooth mixture.

IMAG0172

IMAG0171IMAG0174      IMAG0177

Next, add in the egg and beat until silky smooth, then continue by adding the flour in small bits. After the flour has been completely mixed in, your dough will start to form. If you feel its too wet, then add a little flour until you can hold it without sticking to your hands. But if you think its too dry, then just add in a splash of milk to help the mixture to stick together rather than crumble.

IMAG0178     IMAG0181

When you have finished adding the necessary milk or extra flour, its time for my favourite part, the chocolate!! I added the chocolate in the normal sizes they came in the bar, but if you want, you can cut the chocolate to your desired size. The best part about this recipe is that you don’t need to leave the dough to sit in the fridge, so after you have broken up the chocolate, just add it in until it is all incorporated into the mix. You can make these cookies any size you want, but i decided to make them big because i wanted to make 10. If you want to make less, make them bigger than I did, but if you want to make more, make them smaller than I did.

IMAG0184

Bake these for 10-12 minutes. But not any longer!  They will definitely look like they need it, but but they won’t. They are perfect after 12 mins. Leave them on the baking tray to cool for 15 minutes and then enjoy!

Beauty Tag : If All My Makeup Disappeared :)

Hey guys!! Ever since i started this blog, i wanted to to a tag that was to do with makeup. So after searching for the best tag ever, I came across this, The ‘if all my makeup disappeared tag’. I decided to change the products from 10 to 5.

So without further ado here is a list of the 5 products I would go out and repurchase immediately if all my makeup disappeared. Hope you enjoy!

The first thing I would definitely go and repurchase is my ‘Rimmel Wake Me Up’ concealer. This product is amazing at covering up those zombie looking under-eye circles. It also does a great job at highlighting and covering spots and redness!

Because the concealer can be quite shiny, I would also choose to buy my ‘Rimmel Clarifying Power’ to set my makeup and keep the oil at bay. It such an amazing product and is very affordable too!

IMAG0072

For my eyes, the 2 products i would have to have to have are : the Maybelline ‘Big Eyes mascara, and the Rimmel Gel Eyeliner. These 2 products are amazing and are perfect for a cute everyday look.

Last but not least, I would choose my Baby lips Lip Balm in ‘Cherry Me’ as its basically a 2 in one lip product. It gives amazing colour, and also moisturises your lips at the same time. And also I would use it on my cheeks for a cream blush effect without having to buy another product! Ssshhh!

My Current favourites :)

Hey guys! I really wanted to share with you some of my Favourite items at the moment! So, here are a few of my current faves! Hope you enjoy! 🙂

IMAG0061

My first current fave is my beautiful Borjouis blush pot. I bought it ages ago in London, and completely forgot about it, but have been using it ALOT lately and I lOVE it! The colour i have is ‘Golden Rose’ and it is so pink and girly so is perfect for me!

Next is my cute camera which i just did a blog post on how to use it. Its the Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 camera and I cant believe how adorable it is. Its so compact, yet the perfect size and the style and colour is perfect. If your looking for a cute polaroid-ish camera, than this is definitely for you.

IMAG0774

You probably already know how much i ADORE the Maybelline Baby lips lip balm and so I had to add even more to my collection. The 3 I have been loving are: (In no particular order) Mango Pie, (the name drew me in!) Smoothing Cherry, and Anti – Oxidant Berry. They are clear but they smell amazing and are just as good as my other ones.

IMAG0074

I recently dropped my old pressed powder on the floor and i was devastated. So when i went shopping I wanted to get the same one, but what this product said it did just drew me in (and the packaging was cute!) It was the Rimmel Clear complexion clarifying powder. It makes my skin feel so smooth, and immediately sets your foundation and powder straight away.

IMAG0072

I remember when i first saw the adverts for these next two products and how much they stunned and drew me in. They are the Batiste dry shampoo and the Maybelline ‘Big Eyes mascara’. They are so different but so helpful. The dry shampoo really helps me when i need volume in my hair or when my hair is looking greasy and limp and it also comes in many amazing scents that make your hair smell fresh and yummy! The Mascara is AMAZING at giving volume to your upper lashes, and separating your bottom ones. The reason why I love this even more is because it has two wands so do don’t have to worry about you lower lashes clumping up with the bigger wand.

Thanks so much for reading my blog and following me! I really appreciate it 🙂

Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 | How to :)

Hey guys!!

Today i will be showing you how to use the Fuji film Instax Mini 8 instant camera. Hope you enjoy!

IMAG0774

When you get the camera it will arrive in a box (pictured below)  designed with the colour of your camera on top of the box. The side of the box tells you what you get in the box including the camera, batteries,a wrist strap, and instruction manuals.   IMAG0771  IMAG0773

As you can see,the camera box already comes with batteries and a wrist strap to get you started.

Because the camera doesn’t come with film, you will need to buy your own but it is very easy to find cheap on amazon. To insert the film you just need to line up the yellow sticker on the film with the yellow dot on the back of the camera. After inserted, just clip the back on and take the first shot which will be a fake film. After the ‘picture’ has come out, you will see the number 10 at the bottom of the camera.

IMAG0781

The camera as a whole is very easy to use. To turn the camera on, there is a small button at the bottom near the lens which pops the lens out and turns it on. When on, you will need to look above the lens to see which setting you need to change the lens to and after that you are set to take a picture! To take a shot just press the button next to the lens under the viewfinder and your picture will pop right out!

 Happy picture taking! 🙂

Maybelline Baby lips – The best lip balms ever? Review Wednesdays

Baby Lips Logo

I have loved the Maybelline Baby Lips lip balms for a long time. Ever since they became available in england, I was straight on the boots website and didn’t hesitate for one second even to not pre order them. I had heard so many youtubers saying they loved the colour payoff and that they made your lips so soft. So obviously i definitely wanted to try them out. When they arrived, I couldn’t have been more tempted to put all of them on at once. But I did restrain myself and carefully opened each one separately trying not to squeal each time the wrapping came of and I held them in my hand for the first time.

I bought six: Peach kiss, Hydrate, Intense care, Cherry me, Mint fresh, and finally Pink punch. I started using them immediately and was amazed by the results. The colour payoff of the pigmented ones are amazing and they really do make your lips feel like baby lips! (Hence the name).

Pictured below are 4 of the 6 lip balms i bought as i gave Peach kiss to my freind who was also eager to try them out as much as me.

IMAG0032 IMAG0033

From right to left, the colours are: Cherry me, Mint fresh, Intense care, and Pink punch.

IMAG0034   As you can see, the colour payoff from Cherry me and Pink punch are beautiful. Not to mention they smell like everything good in life (I’m not very good at describing scents) but they are SO soft on your lips and you can finally say bye bye to chapped lips!

These lip balms are from the drugstore so they are very affordable. If your looking for cheap lip balms that you want to try out, then The Maybelline Baby lips are the lip balms for you.

I hope you enjoyed this review and if you have any products you want me to review then please write them in the comments! 🙂

Back to school?? You’ve got to be kidding me!!

MEEEE

IMAG0006

Heyy!

So, as you guys may or may not know, the pens and notebooks are half price in stores, school bags are being packed, and summer is coming to an end, which can only mean one thing and one thing only. Its back to school season. For some, this means starting a new school or seeing school friends you haven’t seen in AGES. For others (Me!) this means early mornings and dreaded homework due the next day which we will probably be doing the night before at 10’o clock at night.

For todays blog post, I wanted to do some thing ‘back to school’ related, but I also didn’t want to bore you guys. So I decided to show you some school ‘bear necessities’ to help you get through the school year.

I definitely recommend using brightly coloured sharpies or highlighters to brighten up and boring piece of work. They are very affordable, and the colour payoff is brilliant. If highlighters aren’t your type of thing, then just substitute them for brightly coloured sticky notes instead for an easy way to jot down ideas.

Instead of using regular, boring water bottles, why not try bright acrylic tumblers which hold and drink you desire. Or if you prefer handle held cups, then mason jars with handles and lids are definitely for you. These can be found at any supermarket for a very decent price.

Journals that show days of the week are always a good idea to note down homework, notes, or what you may need to bring into school the next day, e.t.c. And surprise, surprise, one that brightens up your school desk is even better. Just don’t forget to bring them home with you!!

Finally, a cute watch, necklace, ring or bracelet that will polish your school uniform and finish off the look is always perfect. Whether you wear school uniform or not, any colourful accessory is always a good idea.

I hope you enjoyed this post more then you enjoy school! If you have any school necessities that you always use, then you should definitely tell me in the comments!

Awesome DIY Beauty Hacks

Hey guys!! For today’s blog post, I really wanted to share some of my beauty secrets and hacks with you which I love 🙂 I really hope you enjoy this post and see ya soon!!

1. Use coconut oil as a conditioning hair mask before you wash for smooth, silky hair. Just melt in the microwave for 30 second blasts until smooth, adding a little honey each time.

2. Create your own salt spray using seltzer (20 ounces)  and one teaspoon of rock salt. Mix the two ingredients together in a spray bottle and use whenever needed.

3. Ever burned yourself with a curling or flat iron? Just simply place cool plain yogurt as a natural soother and cooler for your skin.

4. Can’t get the cat eye shaped liner on your eye quite right? Use a piece of tape across the corner of your eye for a flawless finish every time.

5.Ran out of body scrub? Just use some brown sugar mixed with your favourite body wash as a cheap but great alternative. If the scrub is too rough on your skin, just add honey.

7.After you curl your lashes, do they immediately become straight again? Use a hair dryer on a low heat setting over your lash curler before applying mascara for longer, curvyer looking lashes.

8. Are those pesky red spots getting bigger every day? Just use crushed aspirin tablets and distilled water on your spots to reduce redness.

A trip to Scone Palace.

Our trip started when we arrived at the grounds. We were met by a HUGE palace (pictured below). We then decided it was time for lunch, so we headed to the servants hall coffee shop, which was beautifully decorated with wild flowers on the table and an array of delicious cakes on display.
IMAG0724After a light lunch, we decided to check out the grounds so we walked to the beautiful gardens filled with bright roses, butterflies, and majestic peacocks. The grass was lusciously green and the trees were full of amazingly coloured leaves.IMAG0760

Before we left, we decided to check out the Scone Palace gift shop. As you walked in, you were immediatly surrounded by cute little trinkets. There was a wide variety of flavoured jams, honey and tablet. They smelt absolutely amazing and the colours were beautiful.

We had a little time left, so we took a quick trip to the animal corner where we saw beautiful horses, a donkey, and a few ducks and chickens.

After a brief encounter with the farm animals, we headed of home after a long day discovering the beautiful palace, grounds and delicious food.

We had an amazing day at Scone Palace, and hope to visit again very soon.

If your planning to check out Scone Palace, then just head to their website http://www.scone-palace.co.uk for info about how to get there, the activities they have to offer, and lots more!!
